Axist Consulting has particular experience developing

The New Zealand government recently announced
deadlines and processes for making applications to their
Broadband Investment Fund. Local authorities,
network operators, community groups and other entities
can apply to the government for broadband investment
funding. This is a great opportunity for local groups to
obtain capital investment in broadband infrastructure.
$340 million of funding is available nationally.

As well as providing the broadband funding, the
government is providing assistance to help you develop
an investment proposal. You can apply for an "assistance
grant" to help you do market research, find network
partners, and develop a broadband funding application.

You must apply for this assistance grant before 30
September 2008. You need to submit both an
Expression of Interest and an assistance grant application
to the Ministry of Economic Development. Contact Axist
